Inspired by the Rafflesia Arnoldi flower that grows a lot in Bengkulu, Sumatera, Indonesia.

Rafflesia arnoldii, the corpse flower or giant padma, is a species of flowering plant in the parasitic genus Rafflesia. It is noted for producing the largest individual flower on Earth. It has a strong and unpleasant odor of decaying flesh. It is native to the rainforests of Sumatra and Borneo. Although there are some plants with larger flowering organs like the titan arum (Amorphophallus titanum) and talipot palm (Corypha umbraculifera), those are technically clusters of many flowers.t here!

We dedicate the name of this club to the memory of the discoverer of the rafflesia arnoldi flower. Rafflesia arnoldii was discovered in 1818 by Dr. Joseph Arnold and Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles, in the tropical forests of Sumatra. This flower was first found somewhere near South Bengkulu Regency.

It was a guide working for Dr. Joseph Arnold who first discovered this giant flower. Dr. Joseph Arnold himself was following an expedition led by Thomas Stamford Raffles. So the naming of the Rafflesia arnoldii flower is based on the combined names of Thomas Stamford Raffles as the expedition leader and Dr. Joseph Arnold as the discoverer of the flower.
